Devon Cahill

Devon Cahill returns to Blue Strawberry with an intimate evening in the lounge playing folky guitar, ukulele originals and a few fun covers.
Devon has been a performer since the tender age of 6 years old. Growing up doing professional musical theatre, she ultimately found her way to writing music. She is proud and grateful to have recently shared the stage with Broadway’s Norbert Leo Butz at Stages annual gala, singing and helping lead the band. Some highlights of her music career have been singing the National Anthem for over 60,000 people at Enterprise Center in downtown STL, winning “Best Folk Band” from the Riverfront Times two years in a row, and playing at the gorgeous Sheldon Concert Hall many times. She has had the pleasure of opening for several national touring bands, including James McMurtry, Amythyst Kiah, The Local Honeys, and Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards). You can hear her music at devoncahill.bandcamp.com and find her show schedule at Facebook.com/devoncahillmusic.

“Some of the best covers of the night were from female singers, maybe because they can claim Woody Guthrie in ways that men can't. Devon Cahill cooed her way through "Hobo's Lullaby" like Zooey Deschanel with a better sense of pitch and a $10 watermelon ukulele.” -Riverfront Times
“St. Louis native Devon Cahill is well-known to local audiences for her time with award-winning band Letter to Memphis, and her solo projects, rooted in wistful folkiness, greasy honky tonk and elements of jazz.” -Sofar Sounds
