Molly Healey Album Release Concert

Molly Healey (fiddle player for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils) brings her album release tour to Blue Strawberry in St. Louis! With the Wind: An Orchestral Dance Music Suite, releasing Nov. 21, 2025, is Molly's new full length solo album, and is the first of her new project, ODM (Orchestral Dance Music). ODM represents a genre that is cinematic, emotional, and full of artfully crafted beats on which Molly worked with Dave Tough from Belmont University. With some new compositions and re-recordings of old, it is one of the fullest sounds that a room will see with only one musician on stage.  If you love the cello, violin, and beautifully sung lyrics, all executed with a big concert hall sound, this show is for you. New album will be available on CD and vinyl, as well as new merchandise.  New album will be available on all streaming platforms 11/21/25.

Molly Healey, an instrumentalist and songwriter in Springfield, MO, is known for bringing the orchestra to the live rock show. Rooted in Ozarks rock and indie folk, Molly lends soulful vocals & fiery solos as a longtime fiddler for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. In 2015, Molly bought a simple looping pedal and began crafting lyrical soundscapes. She loops violin, cello, guitar, synth, piano, beats, and vocals to create lush, atmospheric songs. Her genre-bending music has a fervent folk heart, rock flannel shirt guts, a techno-festival aura, and an orchestra’s rush & tingle for a spine. With the Wind: An Orchestral Dance Music Suite, Healey’s fifth studio album, introduces trance, downtempo & trip-hop, and sweeping cinematic moods to her soaring string melodies. It’s a journey only Healey, with her range of instrumental expertise and vocal mastery, can provide. Influenced by Radiohead, Massive Attack, AURORA, Kevin Olusola, and Zoë Keating, Molly’s music drips aural singularity & delight.
