 Led by the powerful vocals of Saint Louis’s own Jacinta Branch-Griffin, Ms. Hy-C & Fresh Start bring a high-energy, soulful, old-school blues experience to the stage of Blue Strawberry. Ms. Hy-C and Fresh Start trace their style in a direct line back to Blues legends, and pioneers of Rock and Roll, Chuck Berry, Albert King, Johnnie Johnson, Barbara Carr, Jerry and the Soulful Fly, Buddy Eights, Ike Turner, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters. This well-seasoned band embodies both Chicago Blue and Rhythm and Soul Blues. Ms. Hy-C & Fresh Start are Foyo Entertainment’s 2016 Best Blues Band, St. Louis Blues Society's Road to Memphis Winner and First Place Band Winner of the 2019 International Blues Challenge.
