At an early age, Robyn was raised listening to numerous R&B legends.  On Friday, October1, 2021, she will have the honor of performing a special tribute to them.

Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, her initial musical influences were her parents.  Her father sung in Doo Whop groups throughout high school and church.  Her mother also directed and sung in several church choirs.  Robyn began her musical beginnings in The Antioch Baptist Church Gospel Unlimited Choir which she was under the musical directorship of Jackie Jackson, a renowned St. Louis gospel singer.  As early as 12 years old, Robyn began to expand her musical foundation, by entering and winning local talent contests throughout the Saint Louis Metropolitan area, as well as at her alma mater (the University of Missouri-Columbia).

In addition to Robyn being heavily influenced by gospel music, she has also been influenced by a plethora of R&B legends such as, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Chaka Kahn and The Emotions.  This diverse group of legends have contributed to Robyn’s soulful singing style which has allowed her the ability to sing a variety of genres including, Jazz, Blues, Country and Pop.  Robyn’s musical journey as a lead singer has afforded her the opportunity to work with the Mystic Voyage band from mid to late 90’s.  Additionally, she was a member of Accolade (a seven-piece band which specialized in Motown, Top 40, R&B/Soul/Funk, Disco and Jazz) for over 15 years.  She has also performed at weddings, corporate events, wineries and many other private events.  Robyn’s love for music has allowed her to travel nationally and become one of the most sought-after vocalists in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Currently, she is the owner/member of “Robyn Moore and Fabulous (the band).”
