Annie Sauerburger Annie Sauerburger

Annie Sauerburger brings her all-new cabaret show Brick by Brick. She puts it all together for her Blue Strawberry debut. Her rescheduled performance date is February 19.

Pay attention to that woman behind the curtain: she’s going places! (hint: she’s not in Kansas anymore). Annie Sauerburger, accompanied and directed by Ron McGowan, will take you on a musical journey that reflects upon where she’s been, takes stock of where she is, and paves her way towards an uncertain future full of wonders more incredible than she can possibly imagine - and terrors to freeze her soul, accompanied by her faithful companion and the love and support of the people she’s gathered along the way. In short, it’s a cabaret about the precious things in life that are worth fighting for.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Annie studied both classical and musical theatre at the University of Kansas, recently graduating with a degree in Theatre Performance/Voice.  After years of training with the St. Louis Cabaret Conference and performing in cabarets, she debuted her solo cabaret in the summer of 2019.  Annie currently resides in New York and works at the Studio Theatre of Long Island as a Production Assistant.  Recently performing as a guest artist with Meghan Kirk at Don’t Tell Mama’s in New York City, where Broadway World said that she “. . . kicked a little ass with a Carole King number!”, she is home for the holidays and wants to welcome you into her world for a post-holiday celebration.
