From hard-driving swing to soul jazz and fusion, you will hear a tribute to Hammond B3 masters Jimmy Smith, Shirley Scott, Charles Earland to name a few. This groove-infused style ensemble features Eric Slaughter on guitar, Jason Swagler on alto sax, and Miles Vandiver on Drums. 

Pianist, arranger and composer Adaron “Pops” Jackson has performed as a sideman as well as with his own ensembles throughout the U.S. and Europe.  His peer collaborators comprise a diverse array of artists and music masters in their own right, including, among others: Willie Akins, Ronald Carter, Conrad Herwig, John Riley, Harry Allen, Frank Morgan, Victor Mendoza, Steve Houghton, Clay Jenkins, Tom Kennedy, Kim Richmond, LaVerne Butler, Red Holloway, Wallace Roney, and Dave Scott.

Whether the style of music is Jazz, Funk, Gospel, R&B or mainstream Pop, “Pops” incorporates a signature groove element to his music. Today, he now sits on faculty at the University of Missouri - Saint Louis as the Director of Jazz Studies and Assistant Professor of Jazz Piano.
