Born of Turkish parents and raised in St. Louis, she moved to Turkey in her twenties, and sang for almost 15 years in Istanbul with some of Turkey's best musicians. Her group was the house band at at three 5-star hotels along the Bosporus in Istanbul: The Ciragan Palace Kempinski, Park Hyatt and Swissotel The Bosphorus, and in jazz festivals in a dozen Turkish cities. She spent four years singing Turkish folk music with a popular ethnic/folk group, Ezginin Günlü?ü, with which she recorded four albums: Ebruli, Hürriyete Do?ru, A?k Yüzünden, and Rüya, including singing a track on the group's 25th anniversary album, Çeyrek. Feyza also recorded jingles as well as the theme song for the Turkish feature film, Oyunbozan. She sang the part of the lead female character of Kayley in the 1998 Warner Bros. Turkish language version of the animated film, The Quest for Camelot.
She returned to her hometown of St. Louis in 2011. Her alluring alto is in demand all over town. In April of 2019, Feyza was one of two featured performing artists in the 2019 Saint Louis Visionary Awards at The Sun Theatre. During the pandemic, Feyza collaborated with musician/director Roberto Rossi, in the production of a video for Duke Ellington's tune, Blue Pepper, for which she also wrote the lyrics describing a new world. She celebrated the release of 9 solo CD’s from 2014 to present with Steve Davis, including her 2016 release, Imagination. They released Feyza's new CD, Home, in June 2019; and holiday CD, A Christmas Voice in November 2019.
Curt Landes is St. Louis mainstay and favorite, with standout piano chops, a strong voice, and endearingly zany wit and humor.
