Neil Salsich, Shanna in a Dress and Shane Devine

Neil Salsich is a singer, songwriter and guitarist born, raised and proudly based in St. Louis. He cut his teeth in the bars and wine haunts of South City, made his name with his original roots-rock band The Mighty Pines, and found his fame during a heralded run on NBC’s The Voice. He moonlights with Dave Grelle’s Playadors and Sean Canan’s Voodoo Players and enjoys collaborating with the diverse talents of musical St. Louis. In April, he launched his new podcast Meet Me In Music which aims to document and preserve the inspiring stories of music-makers in St. Louis and beyond.

Shanna in a Dress is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. She says what everyone has felt but no one else will say and you'll get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak, extreme candor, and a hefty side of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for taking you on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes within the same song. Think John Prine mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele. She's as real as it gets, as anyone who follows her on FB or Instagram knows.

Shanna started her career at the University of Virginia, fell in love with Boulder, Colorado, and now keeps her fun music flowing out of St. Louis unless she's touring the US or Europe. You can't get the same Shanna in a Dress show twice with her spontaneous banter and playful stage presence. She manages to teeter the line masterfully of taking on complex subject matters with smart, bold, and yet accessible lyrics. Her charisma and boldly honest songs are full of interesting language and wordplay and delight audiences of all ages.

Shane Devine is a songwriter from St. Louis MO, specializing in novelty, nonsense, comic balladry, tragic tale-telling, and other forms of folkloric versification. Named as "one of the sharper sui generis lyricists in town" by the RFT, his music is often surreal, fantastical, and richly detailed.

Shane can be found around town with a number of local outfits: he is the principal songwriter and lead singer of The Opera Bell Band, frequently shares the stage with old-time extraordinaire Nick Pence, and once in a magenta moon he can be glimpsed strangling a guitar with local doo-woppers the Chardonnays.
